Job summary

The Guest House at Graceland in Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time Banquet Server to join the Banquet Department within the Sales and Catering team. Flexible hours include weekends, holidays, evenings, and overtime as required, with eligibility for benefits after a 60‑day introductory period.

You will greet guests, serve courses and beverages according to function requirements, read and follow a BEO, maintain clean and organized service areas, and assist with room setups and breakdowns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior server and bartender experience preferred.
• TIPS certification required (or to be obtained within 60 days of hire).
• ABC license required.
• Grooming: neat, clean, well‑groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and assist with seating.
• Serve all courses and non‑alcoholic beverages per function requirements.
• Read and follow the BEO details and notes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
• Set up, monitor, refresh and breakdown coffee breaks, buffets and displays.
• Assist Banquet Houseman with room set-ups as assigned.
• Adhere to POS/cash handling and credit policies.
