Graceland, Inc. is seeking a banquet bartender for The Guest House at Graceland in Memphis. The role involves setting up and managing the banquet bar, taking orders, mixing drinks, and delivering exceptional guest service during events.

You will work in a high-energy environment with flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and you must be able to read a BEO and respond to guest needs with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Memphis health codes; must have a current valid TN ABC license; proven bartender experience preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Positive, engaging personality with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must work well in a fast-paced business.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
• Basic math and computer skills; ability to handle cash transactions.
• Ability to read regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up bar, mix and serve a variety of beverages for banquet events.
• Read and understand a BEO with event details.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and acknowledge them promptly.
• Check IDs and ensure legal drinking age.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and stock; ensure safety and sanitation policies.
• Operate the POS for payments and keep accurate cash handling.
• Complete opening, shift, and closing duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with event staff to deliver exceptional guest service.
