Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Server to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role emphasizes welcoming guests, delivering friendly service, and maintaining menu knowledge. You will assist with seating, serve food and beverages, and work closely with management and fellow team members.

Ideal candidates bring customer service experience, strong communication, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including holidays. POS experience is a plus and uniforms are provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English above a basic level.
• Must maintain a neat, professional appearance per company standards.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including holidays.
• Must work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area.
• Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel and restaurant guests.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with standards and in a courteous manner.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition.
• Assist with seating guests and with the setup/clearing of tables.
• Communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members.
• Use Point of Sale (POS) system as required.
• Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/manager.
