BBL Hospitality is seeking a part-time Banquet Server in Albany, NY, to join our catering team. You will read BEOs, set up banquet areas, greet guests, and serve menu items in a timely, courteous manner during events.

Responsibilities include assisting the captain with buffet setup, performing side work, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Shifts may include weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Read a BEO and interpret setup requirements.
• Provide friendly, prompt guest service at events.
• Assist chef/captain with buffet and special food service tasks.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth banquet service.

Responsibilities

• Read a BEO and set up banquet areas accordingly.
• Assist captain in setting up buffet and special food service.
• Greet and serve guests, coordinating with dining pace.
• Serve menu items promptly and courteously per banquet orders.
• Perform pre- and post-shift side work and setup tasks.
• Clear tables and remove dirty dishes to kitchen for cleaning.
• Respond to guest inquiries and relay special requests to supervisor.
• Notify Captain or Supervisor before leaving floor or service area.
• Handle setup/breakdown of banquet bars as assigned.
