Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Food service experience and general knowledge of banquet operations.
• Knowledge of different table settings and styles of service.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read a BEO and set up based on it.
• Assist captain in buffet and special service setup.
• Greet and serve guests in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Serve menu items per banquet event order and pace with dining.
• Perform pre- and post-shift side work and setup tasks.
• Clear tables and remove dishes to kitchen for cleaning.
• Respond to guest inquiries and relay special requests promptly.
