Job summary

The National WWII Museum hosts Sodexo Live! events and seeks a Banquet Server for catering services. You will provide food and beverage service for catered events, ranging from casual buffets to formal plated meals, ensuring a positive guest experience with attentive, timely service.

Position supports multiple functions with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be 18+, with beverage knowledge and strong teamwork abilities; prior POS/digital register experience

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
TIPS or TEAM trained or equivalent.
Age 18 or older.
Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits and familiarity with standard drink recipes.
Demonstrated ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
Strong team orientation and ability to work with various departments.
Ability to count and make change involving large sums of money.
Ability to use calculator, bill counters, and coin counters.
Ability to work well independently and in a high‑stress environment.
Must be able to speak/read/write basic English for guests.
Technology aptitude for POS and digital register.
Strong sales skills with customer connection.
Scheduling flexibility to meet operational needs.

Support banquet operations by assisting in executed catered events per Banquet Event Orders.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized and sanitary environment.
