Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver food and beverage service at catered events, including meetings, receptions, luncheons, and dinners. You’ll support service styles from buffets to plated meals and contribute to a positive guest experience through attentive, timely service.

Reports to Banquet Captain/Supervisor and participates in event setup, service execution, and breakdown, with duties varying by event size and client needs. Part-time, on-site role with flexible days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Banquet, catering, food service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Must maintain a valid TIPS (or equivalent) certification.
• A food handler certification may be required based on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events.
• Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with presentation standards.
• Ability to frequently lift/move up to 35 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and show regular attendance.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts.
