Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts in San Ramon, CA is seeking a Banquet Server to assist in serving guests at banquet functions and to ensure a positive guest experience. The role involves setting up banquet spaces, greeting guests, serving courses, and maintaining service standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has hotel experience, can obtain a Food Handlers certification, and is able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Food Handlers certification required or able to obtain.
• CA RBS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function details.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages per supervisor's instructions; remove dishes as needed.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate rules for serving alcohol.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• After events, reset room per supervisor specifications for next function.
• Ability to work Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, including holidays.
• Commit to attendance rules and regular schedule.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
