Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a Banquet Server for on-site roles at Marriott San Ramon, CA. The part-time position requires greeting guests, serving courses, and supporting the banquet team to ensure flawless events.

You will set up rooms, assist during service, and help with room resets. Prior hotel experience is preferred; a Food Handlers cert is required, and RBS is a plus. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to pitch in and help coworkers as part of a team.
• Strong guest relations and etiquette knowledge.
• Ability to memorize and promote the menu items.
• Ability to transport up to 30 lbs and operate beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware as instructed by supervisor.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function specifics.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food and beverages in order and as directed by Supervisor.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction; reset room after events.
