Job summary

Poppy Bank is seeking a courteous Banquet Server to join our hospitality team in Leesburg. You will set up tables, serve beverages and food to guest tables, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of service areas according to hotel standards.

You'll also ensure accurate knowledge of menu items, host etiquette, and safety guidelines while coordinating with colleagues to meet guest expectations and group requirements for events and functions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in Food and Beverage, restaurant or banquet experience preferred.
• Fluent English communication required; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and station seating according to function requirements.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to guest tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment.
• Provide courteous guest interactions and anticipate guest needs.
• Adhere to safety and liquor regulations, and hotel policies.
