Job summary

Lodging Hospitality Management Corporation is seeking a Banquet Server to set up banquet spaces and deliver food and beverages with friendly, professional service in line with the property's standards. You will work under the Banquet Captain to ensure guest expectations are met during events.

Duties include attending roll call, greeting guests, serving courses, bussing, replenishing beverages, and resetting the room for the next function.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations.
• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquiries and communicate simple instructions.
• Ability to transport up to 40 lbs and work on their feet for full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room according to Banquet Captain's instructions.
• Attend roll call meetings before events to learn function particulars.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a courteous manner.
• Serve the food and beverages to guests as per course and banquet standards.
• Bus dishes and replenish beverages; check guest satisfaction.
• Reset banquet room for the next function.
• Adhere to health standards and liquor regulations for serving beverages.
