Job summary

KIMPTON BRICE HOTEL in Savannah, GA is seeking a Banquet Server to assist banquet events with a focus on guest experience. You will set up rooms, serve food and beverages, answer guest requests, and reset spaces between functions, while maintaining safety and service standards.

Prior hotel or banquet experience is preferred, with a team-oriented mindset and strong communication. The position is on-site at the Kimpton Brice Hotel, offering competitive compensation and ad-hoc shifts.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and serviceware.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote menu items.
• Ability to stand for long periods and transport up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware.
• Attend roll calls to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food/beverage per Supervisor instructions for consistency.
• Reset banquet room after function.
• Adhere to State, Federal and Corporate alcohol service rules.
