Job summary

Hyatt Regency Westlake is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver attentive, professional service at events such as banquets, conferences, weddings, and special occasions. You will set up venues, serve guests, and ensure clean, organized spaces throughout shifts.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior guest service or banquet experience is a plus. Benefits and a supportive team culture are highlighted in the role description.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior guest service or server experience preferred; banquet/catering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet function rooms with linens, China, silverware, glassware, centerpieces, beverage stations, and other required service items.
• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Clear tables and remove dishes, linens, and service items following banquet events.
• Ensure proper storage of banquet equipment, supplies, and perishable food items.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas throughout each shift.
• Prepare for upcoming events by folding napkins, restocking condiments, and completing other banquet preparation tasks.
• Provide team support by relieving coworkers for scheduled breaks as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position directly influences the success of banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events through efficient preparation, service, and cleanup that reflects the highest standards of hospitality.
