Job summary

Doubletree-Raleigh is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver attentive, professional service for banquets, conferences, weddings, and other events. You will set up rooms, serve guests, clear tables, and ensure clean, organized workspaces.

Prior guest service or banquet experience is preferred and a strong customer-oriented approach is essential. This full-time role includes event preparation, teamwork, and flexible scheduling to support diverse events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior guest service or server experience preferred; banquet/catering experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet function rooms with linens, China, silverware, glassware, centerpieces, beverage stations, and other required service items.
• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Clear tables and remove dishes, linens, and service items following banquet events.
• Ensure proper storage of banquet equipment, supplies, and perishable food items.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas throughout each shift.
• Prepare for upcoming events by folding napkins, restocking condiments, and completing other banquet preparation tasks.
• Provide team support by relieving coworkers for scheduled breaks as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service.

This position directly influences the success of banquets, conferences, weddings, and special events through efficient preparation, service, and cleanup that reflects the highest standards of hospitality.
