Job summary

The Banquet Server at DoubleTree Raleigh plays a key role in delivering attentive, professional service for banquets, conferences, weddings, and events. You will set up rooms, serve guests, and maintain cleanliness and organization to reflect high hospitality standards.

Responsibilities include stocking, coordinating with team members, and greeting guests warmly to ensure memorable experiences. A background check is required, with benefits and competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service or server experience preferred; banquet/catering experience a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet function rooms with linens, china, silverware, glassware, centerpieces, beverage stations, and other service items.
• Serve food and beverages to banquet guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Clear tables and remove dishes, linens, and service items following banquet events.
• Ensure proper storage of banquet equipment, supplies, and perishable food items.
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary work areas throughout each shift.
• Prepare for upcoming events by folding napkins, restocking condiments, and completing other banquet preparation tasks.
• Provide team support by relieving coworkers for scheduled breaks as needed.
• Greet guests warmly and deliver exceptional customer service.
