Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts at Marriott Pittsburgh City Center is seeking a dependable Receiving & Banquet Support Attendant. This role handles daily deliveries, sets up and breaks down meeting spaces, and supports multiple departments based on needs.

Customer service, safety, and teamwork are essential as you assist with events and operations. The position emphasizes physical tasks, organization, and collaboration with Banquet Managers to ensure spaces are prepared on time and guest expectations are

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move heavy items safely.
• Able to follow hotel safety procedures and lifting techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Receiving, Banquets, Culinary, and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, unloading, and transporting deliveries, including food, beverages, linens, equipment, and hotel supplies.
• Set up meeting rooms and banquet spaces according to BEOs and break down spaces after events.
• Move deliveries to designated departments and maintain organized receiving areas and storage spaces.
• Support room turnovers and last-minute event setup changes and ensure spaces are ready on time.
