Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Assistant to support banquet operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. You will assist in preparing meeting spaces, transporting equipment, and maintaining room setups throughout shifts.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to move heavy objects, and clear communication with supervisors and guests to maintain smooth event services. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of equipment and setup styles used in meeting rooms.
• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and podiums weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to move goods on a hand cart/truck weighing up to 500 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms to the specifications of the guest.
• Transport and arrange staging, tables, chairs, and dance floors as required.
• Maintain room cleanliness and replenish supplies between events.
• Break down rooms after meetings and return items to storage.
