Job summary

The Banquet Manager at Evans Hotels oversees strategic and hands‑on leadership to ensure all banquet functions meet service standards, BEOs, and financial targets. You will lead the banquet team, set clear expectations, and ensure coordinated service for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other catered events.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of progressive banquet leadership experience in high-volume environments.
• Ability to run shifts, schedule, manage performance, and train staff.
• Must have or be able to obtain San Diego County Food Handler certification.
• RBS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the banquet leadership team to execute events per BEOs and standards.
• Create schedules based on forecasted banquet business and productivity rates.
• Maintain SOPs and ensure consistent service across all banquet events.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Stewarding, Sales, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
