Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee banquet staff and coordinate all food and beverage services for events. You will train the team, enforce hotel standards for banquet setups, and manage spaces to ensure successful, enjoyable occasions for guests.

The role requires leadership, strong organization, and experience in a restaurant or banquet setting, with 2–5 years in Food & Beverage as a plus. A medical, dental, vision and 401K-benefit package is offered.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff, servers, bar porters and bartenders.
• Coordinate all food and beverage services within the banquet department.
• Train team and implement hotel standards for banquet setups and spaces.
• Schedule coverage and plan details for successful functions.
• Oversee inventory, equipment, linens and supplies.
• Ensure rooms, storage and equipment cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborate with Catering/Sales, AV, Kitchen and Chef teams for smooth events.
