Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking a Production Manager to oversee entertainment, stage and showroom operations, and related venues. You will manage inventory, labor costs, and staffing while ensuring safety and quality across performance spaces.

The role requires a four-year degree and 3–5 years in casino entertainment, with strong leadership, budgeting, and vendor coordination. Competitive benefits and annual bonus eligibility are offered. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Four year degree in related field and 3–5 years of related experience.
• 3–5 years in casino entertainment industry preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Audio, Video & Lighting hardware.
• Management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production of entertainment, stage operations, showroom operations.
• Implements, oversees and insures accurate inventory control for all entertainment equipment.
• Ensure accurate accounting of labor and related costs for all acts.
• Interview, hire, train, schedule, appraise and supervise assigned personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment.
• Read industry periodicals and write detailed reports or memos.
• Prepare and manage financial and/or staffing budgets.
• Must possess strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to deal with problems involving multiple variables in unique situations.
• Work with labor unions as needed.
• Proficiency with department-specific computer programs.
• Physical demands include sitting, writing, standing, lifting 10–30lbs, keyboarding.
• Working conditions: hectic, loud environment; sometimes smoke-filled.
