Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Banquet Supervisor at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The role involves leading on-site banquet operations, supervising captains and servers, and ensuring events meet BEOs and client expectations.

The position requires experience in banquet or catering settings, strong organizational skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed. A valid food handler certification may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• 2-4 yearsBanquet, catering, or food and beverage service experience.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in banquet or event operations required.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.
• Working knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and event service processes.
• TIPS or TEAM alcohol training or equivalent.
• Food handler certification may be required based on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision and coordination of banquet and catered event operations.
• Oversee Banquet Captains and Banquet Servers to ensure events follow BEOs and client expectations.
• Ensure operational readiness, staffing oversight, and service execution during events.
• Support preparation, setup, service, breakdown, and cleanup while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction.
