The Westin Indianapolis, operated by Davidson Hospitality Group, seeks an Assistant Director of Banquets to lead our banquet team in delivering exceptional events. Based in downtown Indianapolis, you will direct banquet managers, captains, servers, and setup crews, ensuring flawless execution and seamless collaboration with guests and other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in banquets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• In-depth knowledge of banquet operations and industry trends.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.

Responsabilités

• Directing, scheduling, training, and leading banquet managers, captains, servers, and a set-up department.
• Supervise the set up of functions according to event specifications.
• Coordinate with other departments and with guests to ensure events run smoothly according to event orders.
• With high energy and enthusiasm, inspire and mentor a talented team to deliver flawless events.
