Job summary

Wyndham Garden in York, PA is seeking a Banquet Manager to lead all banquet operations for weddings, meetings, conferences, and special events. You will coordinate with Sales, Catering, Kitchen, and other hotel departments to ensure flawless execution and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous banquet operations experience in hotels, catering, or event management.
• Experience supervising, training, and developing team members.
• Strong understanding of banquet operations, event planning, and F&B service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all banquet operations for weddings, meetings, conferences, and events.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operations.
• Review event orders, timelines, floor plans, menus, and setup requirements for accuracy.
• Coordinate with Sales, Catering, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure successful events.
• Hire, train, schedule, supervise, and evaluate banquet staff to maintain service quality.
• Lead and support Banquet Captains, Servers, and setup staff to meet event needs.
