Hilton is seeking a Banquet Manager in Portland to lead and deliver memorable banquet experiences, overseeing event operations from setup to breakdown while coordinating with Food & Beverage and related teams.

You will supervise and coach team members, ensuring hospitality excellence, safety, and high-quality service across breakfasts, luncheons, dinners, and galas in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading banquet or events teams preferred.
• Strong guest service orientation and hospitality mindset.
• Ability to coordinate multiple events and teams simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Delight our guests with an upbeat, friendly attitude in all interactions.
• Plan, organize, and execute various banquet events such as breakfasts, coffees, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas.
• Oversee the setup of function rooms, ensuring linens, silverware, glassware, and chinaware meet event specifications and quality standards.
• Communicate event specifications, procedures, and updates to Food & Beverage, Event Services, Property Operations, Audio Visual, and Housekeeping teams.
• Oversee event breakdown and ensure equipment is stored properly for the next event.
• Inspire and develop the team by supervising, coaching, and fostering a positive work environment.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
