Job summary

The Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to support all restaurant operations, food preparation, and presentation while upholding safety and quality standards. You will assist in menu development, set up hot and cold lines, monitor temps, maintain clean kitchens, rotate stock, train staff, and collaborate with coworkers to deliver consistent service.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in restaurant or food service.
• Must complete New Mexico Food Handlers course upon hire.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and preparation of menus and food set-up.
• Follow prescribed menus, set up hot and cold lines, and ensure correct portions.
• Maintain food temperatures and use safety practices.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of cold storage and walk-ins.
• Assist in training personnel and coordinate with team for smooth operation.
• Attend to equipment and supplies issues and manage daily operations.
