Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts seeks a Banquet Manager to supervise daily banquet operations in our Minneapolis property. You will lead captains, servers, and staff, ensuring high service standards and adherence to brand SOPs.

Responsibilities include overseeing In-Room Dining, budgeting input, payroll oversight, hiring, training, and performance reviews to maintain excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• 1–2 years of related hotel experience.
• Knowledge of HEI banquet/catering food and beverage services, policies, or operations.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including budgeting, safety programs, and long-range planning.
• Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the Banquet associates including captains, servers, lead housemen, and housemen.
• Oversee end-to-end In-Room Dining operations, ensuring efficient order fulfillment and quality control.
• Interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, coach and counsel staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Oversee daily Banquet area operations and In-Room Dining, ensuring SOPs and quality service.
• Calculate and review Banquet checks; present for signature and payment.
• Manage daily service charges and payroll reporting to Accounting.
