Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Room Service Attendant to serve guests in a luxury hotel setting in downtown Minneapolis. You will set up and deliver food and beverage orders, maintain sanitation, and provide VIP amenities with a focus on guest satisfaction.

The role supports hospitality suites and banquets, requiring strong communication and the ability to lift and move service items safely. Union position with varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• In-room dining in an upscale hotel is highly desired.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule.
• Ability to transport large trays up to 30 lbs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills adapted to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders per company standards.
• Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve trays to maintain sanitation.
• Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
• Serve hospitality suites per Banquet Events Orders and policies.
• Complete shift side work per operating policies.
• Respond to guest needs and report to supervisor.
• Handle cash per company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available to work shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
