Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel Complex is seeking an energetic Banquets team member to ensure guest satisfaction during events. You will follow BEO details, greet guests, uphold cleanliness, and assist with setup, service, and teardown with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Enjoy $15.00 per hour plus tips, plus complimentary lunch and free parking. Candidates should bring a positive attitude, reliability, and excellent customer service skills to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality

Responsibilities

• Ensure that details are followed from the banquet event order (BEO).
• Provide guests with the finest quality of service in a warm and enthusiastic manner.
• Ensure the banquet area is clean, organized, and safe.
• At close of function and end of workday, ensure rooms are cleared, locked, and equipment stored.
• Be present in room and greet guests upon arrival.
• Submit maintenance requests for broken or damaged equipment.
• Assist staff with room setups, food service, and cleanup when necessary.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report shortages, damages or security issues and handle guest requests.

We are looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hard-working banquets team at the Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel Complex. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of!

• Ensure that details are followed from the banquet event order (BEO)
• Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times and in a warm and enthusiastic manner
• Ensure that the banquet area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Ensure that at the close of a function and at the end of the workday, all banquet rooms are cleared and securely locked, and ensure all equipment is stored in the designated area
• Always be present in room and greet guests upon arrival
• Submit maintenance requests to the engineering department for broken or damaged equipment
• Assist staff with room set ups, food service, and clean up when necessary
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
• Maintain equipment in good conditionReport on any shortages, damages or security issues
• Handle reasonable guests' complaints/requests and inform others when required

$15.00 + tips!
