Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Banquet Manager to lead the banquet department operations in accordance with guest service and sustainability standards, ensuring flawless events. You will oversee staff, coordinate with catering, and supervise setup and service to meet specifications.

This role requires effective interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management, along with strong attention to safety, policy compliance, and accurate billing using the POS system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years Banquet experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train staff and evaluate performance.
• Maintain positive guest relationships and ensure banquet events meet specifications.
• Coordinate with catering to address service and communication gaps.
• Supervise setup of function rooms and inventory control.
• Oversee serving staff to comply with regulations and SOX policies.
• Enter billing information into POS to generate final guest checks.
• Monitor attendance and reassign stations to ensure quality service.
• Provide ongoing training to maintain service standards.
• Follow safety procedures and MSDS/OSHA standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
