Job summary

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel is seeking a Banquet Captain to oversee day-of execution of banquet functions, coordinate setup, timing, and service flow to ensure a flawless guest experience. You will lead banquet servers, assign sections, communicate priorities, and support real-time service recovery while upholding high service standards.

Requirements include three years in Food and Beverage with two in banquet or event planning, familiarity with hospitality or casino environments, and at least six

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in Food and Beverage, with two (2) years of banquet or event planning.
• Familiarity with the casino, gaming, or hospitality industry preferred.
• Six (6) months of experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Event Operations: Lead the on-site coordination and support of events, ensuring timing, setup, service flow and guest experience stay on track for on-property and off-site functions.
• BEO Review: Review and proof BEOs and menus for dates/times, guest counts, pricing, and service details; deliver updates to service teams.
• Floor Leadership: Serve as on-floor lead for banquet events by assigning sections and guiding staff to maintain guest-focused service.
• Service Execution & Continuous Improvement: Champion guest-first service standards from pre-shift through breakdown; resolve issues in real time and provide post-event feedback.
• Operational Compliance & Inventory Management: Maintain internal processes, inventory tracking, and auditing controls; ensure supplies and equipment are event-ready.
• External Partner Coordination: Communicate professionally with vendors and partners to support smooth event execution.
• Collateral Coordination: Coordinate event and property collateral across teams to ensure accuracy and brand alignment.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Support operations and event success as needed.
