Job summary

Qualifications

• One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
• Knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine; experience at a luxury property preferred.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Professional appearance and manner; capable in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications (food handler, alcohol training).

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with beverage and drink preparation in the bar and restaurant.
• Engage guests to understand needs and ensure high-quality service.
• Know drink offerings and recommend based on preferences.
• Comply with Forbes standards in Bar and Restaurant outlets.
• Help drive F&B sales by knowledge of drinks, cocktails, and prices.
• Take, place, and input orders accurately in Micros.
• Prepare guest checks and process payments.
• Operate, maintain, and clean bar equipment.
• Keep the bar stocked at all times.
• Follow safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe workspace.
