Job summary

The Kimpton Overland Hotel Atlanta is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service for meetings, banquets, weddings, and events. You will help with setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring guests receive professional and friendly attention throughout each event.

Requirements include hospitality experience and excellent guest service, with the ability to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

• Must be dependable and able to report to scheduled events on time.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and event equipment.
• Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests.
• Serve food and beverages according to hotel standards and event requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages, and event details.
• Replenish food, beverages, and service items as needed.
• Clear and reset tables promptly and maintain banquet areas cleanliness.
• Assist with buffet setup, service, and breakdown.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and storage of banquet equipment.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests.
