• Meet group coordinator/host(ess) before functions, introduce people, ensure arrangements are agreeable.
• Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine setup, timeline, and guest needs (buffets, action stations).
• Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements and follow up to ensure compliance.
• Follow all Marriott policies on safety, security, confidentiality, and asset protection; report incidents as needed.
• Welcome guests, use professional language, answer phones with proper etiquette, and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
