Job summary

Cragun's Resort on Gull Lake seeks a friendly and experienced Event Captain to lead our service staff aboard our 65-foot, two-story cruise boat. This role focuses on creating memorable moments for guests in a fun, lively environment.

As Event Captain you will coordinate weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings, serving as the go-to contact for clients and vendors, and ensuring timelines and service standards are met with flair. Shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in hospitality, catering, or event service.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills shine in a fast-paced environment.
• Calm and professional under pressure.
• Eye for detail with guest-first mindset.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety and alcohol service certifications are advantageous and may be supported.

As our Event Captain, you’ll be the heart of our team, making sure that every public and private event or cruise, whether it’s a dreamy wedding or a lively corporate outing, goes off without a hitch. You'll be the go-to person for both our clients and staff, spreading joy and professionalism at every event.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements
