Responsibilities

• Oversee banquet service for private events, weddings, and special occasions.
• Lead, coach, and support banquet staff during events, fostering a positive, professional team environment.
• Ensure all rooms are set precisely according to the BEO (Banquet Event Order).
• Act as the liaison between Front of House and Back of House to ensure seamless service.
• Conduct regular floor checks during events, assisting the team as needed.
• Handle Member and guest concerns promptly, professionally, and with care.
• Maintain excellent service timing and pacing throughout each event.
• Troubleshoot event needs in real time (AV, music, heaters, fans, room flow, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and service standards.
• Complete opening, closing, and post-event checklists and reports.
• Continuously look for ways to elevate service and improve satisfaction scores.

This role is perfect for a hospitality professional who enjoys being hands-on, leading from the floor, and turning well-planned events into truly memorable experiences.

What You’ll Do

As a Banquet Captain, you’ll be the point person for your assigned events — ensuring everything runs smoothly, beautifully, and on time. You’ll:

• Oversee banquet service for private events, weddings, and special occasions

• Lead, coach, and support banquet staff during events, fostering a positive, professional team environment
