Job summary

Ko-Kwel Casino Resort on Oregon's southern coast is seeking an experienced banquet cook/lead to prepare high-quality food for buffets, plated meals, and events. You will lead the banquet team, ensure consistency with recipes, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

The role requires strong teamwork, reliable weekend/evening availability, and the ability to adapt to high-volume service. Training and growth opportunities are offered within a supportive hospitality team.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in a commercial kitchen, preferably casino or hospitality.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet kitchen operations during assigned shifts.
• Prepare and cook food to banquet standards following recipes and chef direction.
• Manage inventory and prep lists to ensure smooth service.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef and Banquet Chef for events.
• Maintain food safety, labeling, dating and storage procedures.
• Support main kitchen production as needed and cross-train teammates.
