Job summary

Ko-Kwel Casino Resort on Oregon's southern coast is seeking a Banquet Server to contribute to memorable guest experiences during events and performances.

You will set up banquet spaces, serve meals and beverages, and assist during events while maintaining safety standards and professional guest service. Weekend/evening shifts and meal breaks are part of the role, with opportunities to grow within hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age minimum with GED or HS Diploma.
  • Must obtain a current Food Handler's Card and have a working knowledge of the regulations.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with background check and drug-free workplace policies.
  • Prior food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up tables and décor for events and banquets.
  • Serve and deliver food to guests using tray service.
  • Clear, clean, and reset banquet spaces during and after events.
  • Replenish beverages and respond to guest needs during service.
  • Maintain knowledge of menus and event timing.
  • Communicate clearly with guests and team members to ensure smooth events.

Banquet Servers help bring events to life by creating a welcoming and memorable experience for our guests. From setting up tables and décor to serving food and beverages, clearing, and cleanup, you'll help ensure every event runs smoothly and guests leave happy.

What you bring to the table
  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Champion guest interaction standards and coach banquet team members to deliver warm, polished service in alignment with Executive Chef and departmental guidelines.
  • Serving and delivering food to guests, using tray service at all times.
  • Replenish beverages as necessary and check for guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus including timing for events.
  • Foster open, upbeat communication with team members and supervisors to maintain a collaborative, positive kitchen environment.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly. (Other duties as assigned)
