Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group seeks a Banquet Chef to lead culinary execution for special events, crafting menus and overseeing banquet kitchen operations to delight guests.

Reporting to the Executive Chef or Banquet Manager, you’ll maintain high standards of safety, quality, and presentation, while pursuing exciting culinary leadership opportunities within our nationwide portfolio.

Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience.
• Completed certifications, such as a culinary diploma.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• You will be the culinary mastermind behind our hotel's special events, creating memorable dishes that impress our guests.
• Your daily tasks will include menu development, overseeing banquet kitchen staff, and ensuring food safety and quality standards are met.
• You will report to the Executive Chef or Banquet Manager.
• A career as a banquet chef can lead to opportunities as an executive chef, culinary director, or even owning and operating your own catering company or restaurant.
