Job summary

BERKELEY HALL CLUB, INC. seeks an experienced Banquet Chef to lead high-volume event kitchens and support the Executive Chef in delivering exceptional member experiences.

You will supervise banquet service, ensure menu execution with consistency and quality, train staff, manage prep and safety, and collaborate with the culinary team in a premier private golf community.

This full-time on-site role requires weekend work and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Banquet Sous Chef.
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling standards.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-volume event.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Customer service oriented with members and guests.
• Professional interaction with members.
• Ability to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to listen and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-production environment.
• Adaptability to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assists cooks in producing quality food and supervises prep and garnishment.
• Reviews banquet requests and prepares function sheets.
• Prepares and assists in ordering foods with the Exec Sous Chef.
• Maintains a clean, safe, ready work area and manages overtime efficiently.
• Learns and adheres to safety and brand standards and supports culinary direction.
