Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants in Nashville is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain or Senior Server to lead all aspects of banquet functions and ensure timely, friendly service for events.

You will coordinate meeting spaces, work with kitchen staff on timing, maintain sanitation standards, assist with scheduling, and deliver outstanding guest checks and service. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as banquet captain or senior server.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, and POS.
• Outstanding organizational abilities and initiative.
• Passion for food and guest experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meeting spaces for banquet and catering events per BEO.
• Coordinate with kitchen on food preparation timing to meet event orders.
• Ensure sanitation procedures for food handling safety.
• Assist with scheduling of employees.
• Complete guest checks accurately and provide outstanding guest service.
