Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Banquet Captain to lead setup, service, and breakdown of meetings, banquets, and events with hands-on leadership. You will ensure events run on time, follow the BEO, and deliver warm, attentive service to guests.

Responsibilities include attending BEOs, coordinating staffing and equipment, preparing labels, and guiding banquet staff through setup and service while maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as banquet captain or senior server.
• Experience in hotel banquet operations and event service.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Attend BEO meetings to review events and coordinate staffing and equipment.
• Ensure event setups align with the BEO and allow time for inspections.
• Prepare labels and signage and confirm dietary details with Culinary.
• Lead event setup, service, and breakdown with hands-on supervision.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and assign duties to staff.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Sales, and hotel teams on event details and timing.
• Serve as on-site client contact and address requests as needed.
• Monitor presentation, timing, and replenishment of food and beverages.
