Job summary

Concord Hospitality Enterprises is hiring a Banquet Captain to lead banquet staff, coordinate food and beverage service, and ensure guest satisfaction across events.

You will work closely with the F&B Manager, supervise staff, review BEOs, and drive seamless execution from meetings to receptions. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous Banquet or Food & Beverage leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and standards.
• Review BEOs to understand event expectations.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings with banquet staff.
• Greet event hosts and guests.
• Assist with food and beverage delivery during peak service.
• Train staff on service techniques for plated meals, buffets, and receptions.
• Anticipate guest needs and monitor satisfaction.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns.
• Supervise setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
• Submit end of event reports.
• Maintain clean, safe service areas.
