Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Captain for the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center in College Station, TX. You will supervise banquet service teams, coordinate setup and teardown, and ensure high standards of guest service across events.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive banquet/catering experience, and a focus on safety and efficiency. Full-time schedule with pay and benefits reflective of hospitality industry standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years in banquets or catering experience.
• Two years in a leadership role preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Knowledge of banquet and food service techniques; bartending knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in the setup, preparation, service, and tear down of banquet functions.
• Provide training to staff and ensure events start on time and client needs are met.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Interact with guests, event coordinators, and department managers to successfully execute events.
• Check banquet rooms and kitchen areas for cleanliness and proper setup.
