Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Server at the Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center in College Station, TX. The role involves greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Compensation includes a base of $3.60/hr with tips, plus extensive benefits.

Part-time and full-time schedules are available. Candidates must be 18+, have contact with POS systems, and obtain Texas food handling and TABC certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Well-organized with the ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.
• Knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and food served at the property.
• Ability to suggest food and wine or beer pairings.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years of server experience preferred.
• Must obtain Texas food handling and TABC certifications.
• Prolonged standing and walking.
• Lift/carry trays up to 25 pounds.
• Familiar with property amenities and outlets.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they are seated and ensures the table is set.
• Distributes menus and presents daily specials.
• Answers questions regarding the menu.
• Takes and delivers food and beverage orders.
• Delivers items to guests and checks for accuracy.
• Ensures food is prepared correctly and to guest satisfaction.
• Clears tables and prepares guest checks for payment.
• Assists with cleaning and setup of dining area.
