Job summary

Valor is seeking a Banquet Supervisor to oversee banquet staff, ensure accurate setup and adherence to BEOs, and maintain exceptional guest service during events. The role requires attention to detail, strong English communication, and physical stamina for standing and lifting during functions.

Responsibilities include ensuring smooth service, coordinating with culinary and banquet teams, and finalizing banquet checks with clients.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Able to read, speak and understand English.
• Able to lift, push, carry 20 - 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff and oversee service and breakdown in a safe, guest-focused manner.
• Check BEOs and room setups for accuracy and adherence to directions.
• Ensure public areas are neat and clean; maintain communication between culinary and banquet teams.
• Compile and verify banquet checks and post to the master account; obtain client signature.
• Prepare areas for each function and recap banquet checks at day end.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisors/Managers.
