JDM Golf LLC is seeking a Banquet Captain for the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in Phoenix. You will supervise all banquet events, lead banquet staff, and ensure flawless service and guest safety while coordinating with kitchen and management.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with experience in catering or banquet operations. A valid AZ driver’s license and required certifications are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years catering operations or banquet experience, or relevant experience, preferably in a lead or supervisor capacity.
• Manager-level AZ Food Handler’s Card and Title 4 AZ Liquor Certification.

Mansioni

• Lead department meetings and participate in planning banquet events.
• Process banquet checks accurately and efficiently for payment.
• Assist with weekly staff scheduling and event layout/logistics.
• Delegate duties to servers and oversee activity during events.
• Supervise setup and service of food and beverages.
• Communicate customer needs to kitchen staff and ensure proper room setup.
• Maintain professional appearance and adherence to policies.
• Train catering servers using existing training materials.
• Meet and greet client contacts and coordinate event details.
• Explain venue layout, seating, capacities, and dress code to staff.
