Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Arizona Biltmore is seeking an experienced Banquet Sous Chef to lead high-volume banquet production and mentor a culinary team. You will ensure consistent quality, food safety, and flawless execution of banquet events in a luxury hotel setting.

You will train junior chefs, collaborate with event coordinators, and maintain strict sanitation and cost controls while supporting senior leadership in delivering exceptional guest dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years experience in hotel kitchens with high volume and quality.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Maricopa County Food Handler Card; ServSafe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train staff in banquet production and event orders.
• Oversee preparation, soups, stocks, sauces for banquets.
• Collaborate with event teams to tailor menus.
• Manage daily culinary operations in assigned areas.
• Monitor inventory and minimize waste.
• Lead culinary team to resolve issues during events.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and records compliance.
• Assist in budgeting and cost control.
