Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education a welcome bonus.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in food and beverage service.
• Food Handler’s Card, Title IV Alcohol Certificate, and a valid Arizona driver’s license (CPR/First Aid a plus).
• A sharp mind for logistics, math, and multitasking under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire banquet staff through every phase of event service — setup, execution, and breakdown — with precision and poise
• Train, mentor, and elevate your team to meet the resort’s exacting four-diamond standards
• Partner with Banquet Managers and the Culinary team to bring each Banquet Event Order to life
• Oversee inventory, equipment, and service areas with an unwavering eye for cleanliness and readiness
• Step confidently into the spotlight for weddings, galas, and VIP functions — including Wedding Shadow and Site Meal responsibilities
• Document each event’s story through detailed captain’s reports, capturing wins and opportunities alike
• Champion safety, professionalism, and guest delight in everything you do
