Job summary

Arizona Grand Resort & Spa in Phoenix seeks a polished banquet leader to orchestrate our stage-like floor during weddings, galas, and VIP events. You’ll direct servers from setup to breakdown, maintain four-diamond standards, and keep operations calm under pressure.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in food and beverage, a Food Handler’s Card and an Arizona driver’s license, plus a passion for hospitality, presentation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food & beverage service.
• Food Handler’s Card, Title IV Alcohol Certificate, and AZ driver’s license are preferred.
• Strong logistics, math, and multitasking abilities under pressure.
• Hospitality mindset with professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead banquet staff through setup, execution, and breakdown with precision.
• Train, mentor, and elevate team to meet four‑diamond standards.
• Collaborate with Banquet Managers and Culinary team to execute each banquet event order.
• Oversee inventory, equipment, and service areas with focus on cleanliness and readiness.
• Lead weddings, galas, and VIP functions, including Wedding Shadow and Site Meal duties.
• Document event outcomes with captain’s reports highlighting wins and opportunities.
• Promote safety, professionalism, and guest satisfaction in all activities.
