The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Banquet Captain to lead banquet operations for Forty Acres Catering under UHD. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality service, and coordinate with catering leadership from start to finish.

Responsibilities include front-of-house management, scheduling, and adherence to HAACP and ServSafe standards, while maintaining excellent guest relations and event execution in a university setting.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of waiter experience in dining.
• Ability to operate standard serving equipment and maintain cleanliness.
• Must complete Food Safety Training per UHD.

Mansioni

• Lead and instruct banquet staff during events to ensure 5-star service.
• Coordinate with Forty Acres Catering on BEOs and event setup.
• Oversee front-of-house operations and staff scheduling.
• Ensure safe food handling per HAACP guidelines and ServSafe training.
• Assist with deliveries and inventory management for banquets.
• Maintain storage areas and operate relevant equipment.
